












CHALLENGE:
As a growing startup with significant hiring needs, AKASA recognized the value of creating a company-wide communications strategy. However, with a single internal comms lead juggling many priorities, including hiring teams of hard-to-find engineers, AKASA needed a partner to help build the strategy and get it off the ground.
APPROACH:
Just Drive Media designed a strategy focused heavily on events to raise awareness of AKASA, the exciting projects employees were involved in, and the team’s deep expertise. We worked closely with AKASA to hone in on the right national and local events, co-created executive platforms that demonstrated thought leadership in artificial intelligence, and identified opportunities for targeted media coverage.
OUTCOMES:
Heavy involvement in priority industry events and media coverage in key publications boosted AKASA’s hiring efforts. Specific successes included a broad activation at the Grace Hopper conference and a series of speaking opportunities at local and regional Python events.
