Driving Engagement and Referrals with Holiday Advocacy Fun
During a typically slow time of year, we helped Aerohive add some spice to drive record referrals and program engagement.
Cloud networking company Aerohive has had a customer advocacy program for several years, and is very active in keeping advocates engaged with the brand. In anticipation of a typically slow time of year around the holidays, Just Drive Media worked with the brand to help spice up the program and keep advocates engaged.
Together we created a “Deck the Swarm” holiday campaign to encourage acts of advocacy. By offering incentives for completing a mix of educational opportunities (learn about the product line), advocate asks (refer a friend), and fun activities (design your own ugly holiday sweater), we drove 775 acts of advocacy over a two-week period.
Advocates contributed 60+ testimonials, 15 online reviews — and, best of all, the program generated 60 percent of their referrals to date! Advocates rated the experience as a 9/10, saying, “It was a lot of fun, and gave me something to look forward to every day!”
