From Mobile Launch to Ongoing PR Support
As part of a broader PR program, JDM developed a successful campaign in support of OpenTable’s mobile expansion. At the time, OpenTable offered some of the few transaction-based mobile applications, for multiple devices and operating systems. JDM leveraged this unique position to establish the company as a leader in the mobile app space, in part to help attract new technologists to open employment opportunities.
We kicked off with an analyst tour to ensure OpenTable would be top of mind for industry analysts who were asked for examples of mobile innovation and success, and to ultimately drive positive media coverage of the company’s new mobile ventures. We blew away our goals, securing analyst references with top industry firms and seeding numerous positive placements for each launch in publications like The New York Times, Mashable, EnGadget, PC Magazine, Slashgear, Wireless Week and IntoMobile.
